Action at the Park
These pictures of the girls on a swing were taken at late dusk at Serra Park in Sunnyvale. I've been experimenting with taking action shots with a slow shutter speed. The trick to doing this is to move with your subject so they stay in focus while the background blurs. I'm getting better at it, but it's still pretty tough.

Fun at Happy Hollow
Moira's childhood friend Samira came out to California from New York, and brought her absolutely cute daughter Lilian with her. Moira and the kids, along with Samira and her daughter spent the day at Happy Hollow. Here are some pics from the petting zoo.

Annual Barbeque with the Yam's
We recently had our annual barbeque with our good friends from Saint Simon, the Yamamuras. It's a great time. We meet at a park, Brendan barbeques some meat - this year it was ribs marinated with a special honey vinaigrette marinade with lots of herbs and spices - and let's not forget the great beer and wine! This is one family we're really happy to be close friends with!
